Hope you don't mind - I took your image and ran it through Neat Image (NI), then took the sharpen tool and ran it over the pills at 15%. See what you think.

Light is better, glare is less - pills are awesome. I like them with a little more color. Do you have Neat Image? That would be a soften/sharpen tool that might work well. So far, I like this one best.
