 I'm having so much fun with these aerial shots I took two weeks ago. I don't know if it's the awesome camera/lens, but I've never taken clearer shots from a plane. The windows are of course greasy and this one was no exception. Besides, half the way I realized that the blurry lower part is the exhaust of the 737 engine.

Anyways... this is somewhere in Hungary. There are many places like this in Panonia, small villages, all right angles, long straight roads... snow made it special and you can see the terrain textures you wouldn't otherwise notice.

Interesting how the town ends so abruptly. Here they tend to "fade out" at the edges. Nice contrasting tones and textures.

My initial thought was that this was an abstract - it took a moment to realize it is an aerial shot. That is really cool. I love the way it is somewhere between being a picture and being a map.
