Simple setup in my garage. YN-460II flash in slave mode on the right triggered by on camera popup flash at -2EV. Bottle dropped by hand from 4 feet onto the floor. Camera set off by DSLRBot app on iPhone. Took a few tries.

some of the action of this is taken away by the background being too close. It seems a bit like there was water sprinkled in vertical lines before the shot was taken. Those would be more dynamic if they were less straight.

Needs more contrast or something for me. Too flat to make the bottle stand out.

I really like the concept and the background but the shadows make this a confusing picture to me. Perhaps you would have been better served by shifting the light that was up and camera left a lot more in those directions, or used a ring flash for a fill light?
