 I wasn't sure what to think when this challenge came up. Being the end of winter, everything here is grey and gross looking. But then I remembered our local botanical gardens. The entire week I was thinking of how I would get a shot for this. My main instinct was to get a bench with some walkway and plants. Low and behold, that's what I ended up getting. I do like this photo, but I'm guessing it won't blow voters away, so I'm guessing middle of the pack for this one.

It was so warm and humid in there that my lens kept fogging up, which potentially added some softness to this photo. But with the pentagon bokeh of the 50mm 1.8, I don't mid the added softness to the bokeh. Due to the relatively dull nature of this photo, I had to process it in a number of different ways until I found one that really pops.
