Just a plain white background with a Yongnuo YN462 flash aimed at it. Held the bottle which had red food colouring in it over a bucket below and fired away. I could only get 2 photos per bottle poured so it was quite time consuming.

This was my 2nd photo out of about 30 I took so was pretty pleased. Obviously rotated 180 degrees in PS.

I'm so annoyed I didn't take off the green ring while shooting and I think that might lose me points.

I'm hoping for a 6+ but I SERIOUSLY cannot judge my own photos.

This is strange and awesome. I hope you explain how you got the water to come out in your comments, because I would love to learn how to do this!

A nice stop action shot, no doubt, but it seems more like a soda bottle than a water bottle given the liquid color and the material of the bottle. Maybe they do glass water bottles elsewhere in the world, but it's not something I'm familiar with, except for Perrier, which I only know to come in green bottles. Either way, the red hurts you more than the glass in my score. 6

how is this water or a water bottle? Besides that quite well done.
