This was taken with my Vivitar Ultra Wide & Slim with its super wide 22mm lens. Try as you might with this camera, the pictures will be keystoned, unlevel, distorted, etc. The camera seems to come with its own geometry. And this actually suits Pittsburgh with its lopsided buildings and chaotic terrain.

This is a house in Mt. Washington, city of Pittsburgh. It was taken late last summer (and at midday -- my favorite time to shoot!). Fujifilm Superia 200.

Well, if you really grouped all structures into one big classification ...
naw, I can't go through with the analogy.
:)

So, "if you say it's architecture, well then, it's architecture."
:)

(Hey, I have, somewhere, a picture of a dwelling place made completely out of wine bottles.)

Can a house be disheveled? This one is! I love it. Great capture.

there's a lot in this one, all kinds of shapes, textures and lines and certainly speaks to better days gone by

Looks like the building is pulling itself together to resist the forces exerted by the terrain.

Makes a refreshing contrast to all the fancy-schmancy architecture the rest of us are posting. It still had to be designed by an architect, right? I may have a shot of run down shack or two somewhere.
