Tried to get away from the old-hat cup-o-joe photos (as beautiful as some of them are). After checking out maple syrup, molasses, and dark corn syrup, I found that Hershey's dark chocolate syrup worked the best as the injection solution (plus it tastes great during clean-up).

A little bit too processed for me, but not enough to knock it down. 7

Great processing on this, really adds to the emotion of the shot.

I'd of liked to of given you a better score than I did, but the positioning of your cup makes it look like an afterthought, and the processing makes it look like everything is blownout.

This will be a difficult entry to vote on. The idea is great, very gritty and powerful. The execution though, I'm on the line though. Don't mind the heavy highlights, but there just so little detail left. No details in the hair, the hands etc. Wish there was a little more definition.
