 A simple home setup with a halogen light reflected off the ceiling. Tilt lens made horizontal focus plane possible, and made sure the top of the glass is in focus. The red base is due a book by Karsh (photographer) which I borrowed from lib a few days ago. Book well used. TS-E 90mm + 2x Ext. Tilt 8deg.

Too much of the bottom part is so WAY out of focus, it is distracting.

I am not sure the depth of field is needed in this shot. Did you take another shot at a smaller aperture? I would like to see that for comparison.
