 Well as much as I would love to find this bird in South America somewhere, I will have to settle with taking photos of them at the zoo. Amazingly as it was, the parrot and his companion were on a perch at the entrance with no visible constraints to keep them from flying away. Definitely a fun day for taking pictures. I really didnt do a whole lot to the photo, changed the white balance to daylight, bumped up the contrast and saturation a little and the blacks a few ticks, added a border and resized it.

Fantastic sharpness on that eye!! Beautiful colors! Not sure I like the crop on the beak, it kinda makes the photo seem crowded to me. But OMG I love that eye!!!
