One hand on the yoke, the other on the throttle. A bit over 2.500, it was early afternoon with lots of thermic bumps.
Interestingly enough, the pilot was looking at his metric altimeter the whole time. I realized, after so many years on the flight simulator, that I can't use the metric system in an airplane :).
