The Luray Caverns in Virginia are really quite spectacular. I've only visited three or four caverns--two in Virginia and one or two in California--and Luray is definitely the most picturesque of those I've seen.

I was surprised (after the fact) at how difficult the caverns were to shoot. The multiple light sources led to very uneven light and made it very easy to overexpose. Most of my photos were overexposed somewhat.

This particular one also suffered from some camera movement, and for whatever reason I didn't take two from the same location. Oh, yeah, it was because the tour guides really shuffle you along pretty quickly. Actually, on this trip, I fell so far behind the group I started with that the following group caught up to me.

This is only loosely rule-of-thirdsy, and doesn't fare too well at such low resolution, but what the heck.

That is one heck of a reflection. What an amazing place, and in incredible image. I really love it, but don't feel it fits this challenge. A ding for DNMC.
