This is a wonderful capture, but I do think the noise did you in.

Regarding noise -- I think Photoshop is lousy at denoising. Have you tried topaz denoise? I think it's absolutely wonderful and I highly recommend it.

(I gave it an 8, btw.)

I am astounded that you did not ribbon. I can't believe it. It was the best pic. But then I can't believe I came in 58th, looking at some of the pictures that scored above me. Sometimes it is very discouraging, but then I do learn a lot as well. Good luck next time...this was a really great shot.

This is absolutely brilliant. Perfect bokeh, dof and if you did the "rule of thirds grid," they would be perfectly placed in the intersections. 10
