 This is a performer at the Scarborough Fair Renaissance festival in Texas. His specialty is playing a medieval instrument called a carillon, an instrument composed of numerous bells. Samples of his performances can be found on the Cast in Bronze website.

I had lots of shots I loved for this best of challenge, but feedback on this one was good, and it also represents my style well. That particular style being wide angle environmental portraits. The fact that this also has a large helping of quirkiness is another aspect of this image that suits me.

Pre-challenge notes:
A high average for strong mass appeal is always nice, but this may be a little too creepy and weird for some people, so I'm not counting on it. I'll be disappointed if I don't get some good comments, though.

Great color! Gotta be honest though, the eye are freaking me out here. Would like to have seen more of soft glow behind. Good Luck!

very interesting image i might have tried cropping it down to just the one eye thats in sharp focus still good enough for a 7 from me.
