| For a minute, I thought this must be the Bradbury building in LA. It has SO many similarities. But upon close inspection, it has an equal number of differences. I wouldn't be surprised if they were designed by the same architect. Hope you'll share the location city in your notes. |

| The Grove Arcade yes? Been in the vicinity twice while on vacation and never had the time to go in. Beautiful with all the iron scroll work on the stairs the shoppes and the open feel provided by that lovely large skylight ceiling. Love the composition where the stairwell opens up like a stage that leads my eye onward. Nice splash of color in the center with the red restaurant umbrellas and the U.S. flag that hangs overhead. This must have been really early morning for their is not a soul in sight (or maybe it is when their was that snowstorm that most did not want to venture out). Because there is no one strolling the mall the composition shows off some wonderful lines and the huge expanse of the place. |

| Not a soul in sight, really great architectural image, pity about the flag. I think it is totally out of place of what looks like a victorian deco style. I'm not saying a UK flag would look better either. It just seems out of place. |
