Reminds me of a magical trip to Scotland 40 years ago... Has it really been that long??? Can't wait to go back - this is gorgeous!!

Sometimes when I go back at the end of a challenge I keep rediscovering qualities to certain pictures that I did not comment during the voting (although I marked this one high). This photo is timeless. Could be considered a bit muddy, but such are the landscapes sometimes and such were the 19th century depictions of them. You are still in my top 10.

Wonderful shot. I love the harshness of it. Just a touch of blue, a sliver of white, a strip of green. Moody and awesome.

This is a great photo, I wish I could see more of the sky though. The sky appears to be so much more dynamic than the foreground.
