Were they playing chicken? LOL! I'd imagine that they could chomp down one of those birds in a bite or two! |

The egrets seem to know how to keep their distance, must be plenty of fish in that thar swamp. |

Great contrast! Not only with your subjects, the gators and egrets, but with color, green grass to brown, white on egrets to black on gators. |

It's very interesting seeing the exotic wildlife of the location that is your home turf. I'm not sure how close you get to those gators, but they look pretty scary. It looks like the birds know how to live with them though. |
