This is Henry, my parents dog. Sadly he passed away with pancreatitis at just 3 years old. He was always a sick dog with bad hips in his back legs but had an amazing character and was always looking for ways to cause trouble.

I would love to be able create and frame a print of Henry but need to correct this picture by improving the washed out sky and especially the eyes. Can anybody give me some direction to do this? my dodging/burining skills leave a lot to be desired so look forward to any advice/tips/asistance you may be able to offer me.

Thanks,
Andi

Greetings,
Lovely photo, have you ever thought about doing pet photography? As for your sky situation, heres one idea, not the best probably but it should work, if you have another pic with a large amount of sky in it, cut the sky out, paste it into this photo as a new layer in PS then change the transparency on the original in the selected area (the white sky) so it is down to zero, set the transparency for the non sky area on the new layer to 0, then merge them, this should in effect transfer the sky from the "good" sky pic to the pic of the dog. Just my humble idea, should work, but there may be a better way...

Lost mine a year ago. Very sorry for your loss - Seems like quite a special little guy :(
