 The Witches Bite is a 2 inch iron ring on the door to Heidelberg Castle. Legend held that anyone who could bite through the ring could keep the castle. Supposedly a witch attempted to bite through the ring and left the only crack that is visible.
Disqualification Details
You must retain your original, unedited file (exactly as recorded by your camera), and provide it to the Site Council along with a list of your editing steps within 48 hours of any validation request. Files that have been saved or altered with any editing or transfer software are NOT originals.

Nice idea. The focus seems slightly harsh to me, however, like there's not enough background to offset the in-focus ring against the slightly OOF door. I think I maybe would have pulled back a bit. With the ring in focus it still would have made a great subject. Rich colors. Nice.
