 "Hotel Europe is a six-story heritage building located at 43 Powell Street (at Alexander) in the Gastown area of Vancouver, British Columbia. The building was commissioned by hotelier Angelo Calori and built in 1908 - 1909 by Parr and Fee Architects. Situated on a triangular lot, the building is designed in the flatiron style." - Wikipedia

Sky was perfect that night - fast moving clouds, moon right over the building.

Very minimal edits were done as I just realized that it's advanced editing (as I submit). Just a few tweeks to exposure and colour in Lightroom.

Great motion in the clouds and moon. Life goes on but the Hotel Europe remains. Reinforces the theme. I might have tried to play with the perspective in post processing to get rid of the angles, but then again that never works out that well (at least for me). Great entry.

Beautiful clouds and building... makes me nostalgic of my one trip to Vancouver... I loved Gastown too.
