 January 2011 SC - Day 17.

I almost entered this in the Kids With Toys challenge. I had it entered twice and chose unwisely. I don't know how this would have done, but it couldn't have done much worse than my entry. I liked the mood of the subject and the stark contrasts, but I thought the background was a bit distracting for the dpc voting audience.

Yes the background could be toned down if you wanted, but I like it as is for the contrasts.

She looks oh so bored. LOL! Kids at that age are really hard to please sometimes. I think there's great light in here, but as a challenge entry it would have gotten clobbered over the blown hand and arm.

The black and white suits this well - it is good for the dappled tree light - the little girl looks very composed
