 In the first 100 years old challenge, a lot of voters doubted that my subject was indeed 100 years old. Therefore I wanted to play safe this time with early gothic ;-)

I was very disappointed that the basilica presently is in scaffolding for restoration. Fortunately, the fog does make it not overly obvious. But I had to chose quite a tight composition. I tried to frame it with the statue of Guillaume Farel, a reformator and a tree branch to make it more appealing.

Because of the fog, everything looked quite tinted form the light. Therefore a selected the church and partially desaturated the surroundings.

seems a little washed out, would be awesome if the ri8ght pillar had better contrast.

Love the tree branches at the top of the frame. The fog adds to the overall mood. Nicely done.
