 I had a very difficult time with this challenge. I just couldn't seem to force myself to take an interesting image that was visually unbalanced. On a photo trek Sunday morning/afternoon, I passed by this little park that in the summer has a nice little beach. Of course, this time of year, it's all ice fisherman (you can see a number of in the background of the image). I think this falls into the out-of-balance bucket, but I'm still not 100% sure.

* De-vignette
* Increase exposure, black point, and brightness
* Topaz DeNoise
* Topaz Adjust
* Topaz Detail
* Crop
* Enhance definition and saturation in the snow and lifeguard stand
* S-curve
* Highlights and shadows
* Very slight blur to horizon line
* Export to TIFF
* Resize to 1600 px
* Sharpen Edges
* Resize to 800 px
* Save as JPEG

This image is more unbalance than a sunrise or sunset. This image should be on the front page.

the blue in the sky seems like it was pushed a little too hard on the saturation
