Hopefully the voters will find some humor here. The lighting was intentional...harsh shadows and all to add to the feeling of a crime scene being investigated. My processing choices and reasoning for a certain type of lighting often get overlooked or misunderstood.

It's a mystery so I wanted the black and white look to invoke a sense of that and also add to the effect of this being a night crime scene where perhaps the investigators were called in the middle of the night when the crime was discovered.

Anyway, I'm hoping that most voters are familiar with the phrase "who spilled the beans" which in short means someone talked about something they shouldn't....ie...a secret that should have been left unspoken or told. It's akin to the phrase "who let the cat out of the bag".

A little different than most of my normal entries. Let's hope that's a good thing and not something that comes back to haunt me. LOL.

Post Challenge:

Thanks to all the votes that made this my first top ten photo as well as number 2 on my profile page.

I'm really happy with my #6 spot, but getting so close to at least an honorable mention and coming just short stings a bit. Oh well...there is always the next challenge right!

Thanks again for all the great comments and happy votes. :)

Gorgeous conversion. This is such a beautiful image. Very classy, well composed. My only "nit" is that we can't see the mouth of the jar, so it takes a bit of deducing to tell that it is a mason jar. I know this angle showed the cascade of beans off best, but we even just a tiny bit of the lip would have helped. Front page, if not a ribbon.
