Interesting. I don't really care how this scores. What was and is important to me is the experience of getting this image. The late afternoon was filled with showers and intermittent clear passages, mixed with ominous cloudy skies when I went looking for the 'perfect shot'. I had traveled down the coast, hoping for a lucky silhouette shot of a lighthouse (Pigeon Point for those who know the area). that was not to be, with rain squalls & clouds in the way, but on the way home, the sun broke through for just a few moments at Pillar Point near a breakwater. I parked the car on the highway shoulder and shot out the window to capture one or two scenes of this navigation aid and clouds. You can see the next rain on the horizon, just waiting to pounce.
