Almost didn't enter this one: wasn't sure the sheep faces could carry it off, but then I thought of the title...

Nice comments, good score (for me) and my goodness the postnut gallery which makes me feel that it was worth it after all.

These are 3 of a bunch of angoras recently acquired by June who lives a long way down the road, and if I were her I would spend all my time just looking at them.

heh, cc, I only lately wondered that myself, so I checked my adjacent shots, and truly its body was in evidence there. possibly a chesire goat?

Where on earth is the body of the third one? lol I didn't vote in this challenge and I really missed a good one. They are so cute!

Yikes. Angorable post-comments! I truly had no idea of their appeal. But now I will have to learn to transmute them, a la pointy.

I love it Timmy. The processing is fabulous -- you really brought out all those curls beautifully, and I love the nice warm tones of the wood and the hay. And the expression on the face of the one in front is priceless. It looks like it is talking to us.

Gave it a seven. Those smiling faces were irresistable. As was the prospect of some cozy sweaters.

Congratulations on getting both ends of those sheep. (I usually only get the south ends)

The expressions are priceless, by the way.

Lovely finish for what, in the end, is just a bunch of dumb-azz sheeps :-) I gave you a 9... For me, the texture of the coats was compelling.

I believe I might have cropped this vertically to the upper right, so no legs showing and left edge was the edge of the wood upright, but that's a different picture.

Either way it's a great shot for me, I don't give out many 9's or 10's.

Congratulations! I feel vindicated. Although for my 6 photographs marked with 10 in this amazing challenge I would have hoped yours scored higher. Three of my marked 10 photos are placed in the top 10 - and I am so new to this site I feel like I shall just observe for a while and not be so cheeky as to vote!
The angorables surely have a hypnotic quality and, again, the composition is masterly.

OMG. Just love this so much. I like how you have them filling the frame. Perfect focus. I would have given this much high marks but forgot to vote on FS.

for the old men in the corner...
for old paintings of pharisees leering at naked saints...

I'm putting you in my Posthumous Art Gallery.

Nice capture. I can almost hear "Whatcha looking at?" :)
A bit too tight for my liking - would've preferred some space all around the sheep.
I thought Angoras are rabbits and not sheep, but the wool is wonderful nonetheless :)

Adorable sheep! Would like to see this cropped down to just those 3 faces so I could see them even better.

Nice job with the details in this photo. IS it just me, or do the sheep look kind of green?

Nothing to see here, keep moving! LOL!

Brilliant. What narrow little faces. Fabulous curly and straight textures. And gorgeous tones.
