I hate titles. I should have left it alone. I wasn't prepared for the many interpretations. To that end, I feel pretty bad for trying to bias the viewer. I thought the eyes and nose were kind of obvious -- enough that it would be safe to suggest it was a portrait. Penny saw it, and maybe Steve. But I wasn't prepared for cows and kissing couples (!). And I love that people saw different things. So you, the viewer, weren't supposed to see anything other than what you saw.

I did enjoy the snow and bark comments. It's the side of a dumpster.

Saw the cow right away. With a tag in the ear. Sort of like an image in the current out of balance challenge.

I saw the cow!!! Actually it looks more like a bull called Brian Ferdinand. You have to stand back aways.

definitely a self-portrait, and a sweet one at that, sort of in the style of Paul Klee. (I see faces all the time; got to work on the cows I guess).

Now that I look again, I also see a helicopter. Not seeing the cows, however.

Pleased to see I guessed it right. You are getting a very identifiable style. I suppose I am as well.

You are too much! I absolutely see the face, didn't get to this in voting/commenting.

Of what?

I see a cow. Certainly made me study the image.

While I'm a sucker for a good texture shot, next time push the lighting and orientation a bit more. I think this would have been stronger vertically oriented. Also, using a higher aperture the make the shadows contrast more with the highlights. Remember this is white snow, so it looks like one big highlight.

not seeing what you saw, it does not hold much interest

I've looked at this a couple times, trying to see the portrait, but I'm still missing it. To me, it feels like this would work well as a texture layer, but I'm not seeing much else for it :-/

I like the texture of whatever this is but I'm not seeing whatever it is I'm supposed to be seeing.

Sure does look like a face. Well seen. Feels like a bvy entry.
