This was a very last minute entry. I had some better ideas for this challenge, but I just didn't have time to execute them (I attended 7 Christmases!!). I'm hoping this stays above a 5.
I set this up by putting a cardboard box on the coffee table, and then a black sheet for a base. The Santa is about 10 feet from the Christmas tree, which is was gives this bokeh (a VERY nice smooth bokeh from the 15-85 lens, compared to that hexagon bokeh from the 50 1.8). I then used my flash at 1/32 power with a wireless trigger and a homemade snoot to send some light to the Santa. Took a few tries before I got the different exposures of the scene to balance ok.
