 Taken through my son's picture window on Christmas day. The birds were taking turns at the feeders. There were several sizes and species. This is a Downy Woodpecker.

The feathers of a bird, to me are a perfect example of layers.

Rotated, resized, and not sure of all the steps taken but am playing with my new CS5 and Topaz.

I would consider pulling the "blue saturation" slider a little to the left.
