I just learned of this cabin in the UW Arboretum today. I saw a nice fall photo of it, and set out to find it on the many trails. Surprisingly, I found it rather quickly, and started shooting away. It' unfortunate that this is a basic editing challenge, as this would be been a wonderful opportunity for HDR. Instead, I had to settle for trying to mimic HDR with a single exposure, which just doesn't work all that well. It's also unfortunate that I didn't have my flash with me, since that could have really helped balance the exposure.
