 cut out a bit of a flipped image, edge to edge

polarize it
put result on a new layer,
polarize that layer many times
duplicate a pleasing result
flip vertical,
arrange into a pleasing composition.

flood background with a pleasing color

Now that is truly remarkable. I love the way the stuff is pulled out of the main body - just like stretched taffy - good title.
