For the past two or three years, we've have done a gingerbread house. I buy a kit (one day, I "might" do it from scratch, but for now, a kit will have to do).
The first time or two, I assembled, iced, and the kids helped decorate. Last year, I iced and the kids got to do one side a piece.
This year, they iced (with just a little help from me), and decorated individual houses.
This is my 5 year old's chubby hand. It's one of those shots that has meaning only for me, but meaning it has, so here it is. |

| What a great idea for a gingerbread shot. I just love his pudgy little hand. It adds so much intrest and emotion to the shot. And you photographed it beutifully. |

In this case, the hand not only adds emotional impact, it adds scale along with the impishness that is necessary in fairytale land.

| I think it has meaning for anyone who ever had a child and since mine has long since outgrown this stage, it has more meaning for me than you may think. Great shot. |

| I think it's an excellent photo, looks like it belongs in a magazine actually. The decorating is a little messy (actually pretty good for a 5 year old!) but we can see a child's hand and that makes it extra special. |
