 This tree, situated in an island surrounded by traffic, needs security fencing and cameras because sadly it comes under attack by vandals. Last year it was partly burnt. This year it has had baubles stolen and smashed. All the perpetrators have been caught, luckily. The city council, and most residents take pride in the city's appearance, but not everyone. I don't get vandalism.

You made this work especially well with the angle. That street light adds to the tree and also points to the flag making the whole thing a very nice composition.

Nice view of your town and the tree, no snow expected, I presume :) Too bad that fence is needed, I don't hope Art Roflmao is a fortune-teller.

I love it when the town square has a huge tree. Even if you don't celebrate the Christian holiday, it still gives a sense of joy and happiness. YAY!!
