 A friend and I went on our monthly photo night and decided to try a few astrophotography shots. This is my 1st astrophotography attempt ever. I learned quite a few things in the process.

The funniest thing happened near the beginning of our shots. A cop car pulled over a pick-up truck (which looked like it was trying to run from the cop) on the remote road where we were located. So, the light on the tree is from the flashing lights of the cop car. Completely unintentional, but I thought it brought some greater interest to the tree and an interesting story to my 1st astrophotography attempt.

Very nice idea - the warm tones of the lighting on the tree match with the warm sky and contrast nicely with the cool star trails. The border (especially the white lines) are quite distracting though.
