| I stand by my original comment about this being a good shot. At a shutter speed of 1/125 you've got to pan pretty quickly to get a lot of blur in the background and maybe that's why the voters were a little harsh. But to me the fact it was panned is obvious. FWIW I gave you an 8. |

| For some reason, this photo is hurting my eyes (I'm not being a jerk, it's literally doing something to my eyes). I think it's the contrast of the black against the moving snow that is doing it. Once I get beyond that, it's a nice photo :) |

I have recently been educated about this sport and so I'm guessing this is  spiritualspatula (I have been off with my guesses lately). The backgroun motion blur makes the rider pop nicely. 7 |

There is just not enough motion blur for me, I know more could have been done in advanced editing, but the shot just does not symbolise the speed needed to get this from a good shot to a great shot (IMO)

| Hey! Somebody else shooting cyclocross! Pretty good sharpness on this pan, but something about this feels very static and I can't figure out why. |
