 Stopped south of Santa Barbara, north of Ventura, at a somewhat deserted stretch of beach - well, deserted of humans, but heavily populated with sea birds. Wandered around and shot them for awhile. Enjoyed the cool sea breeze and the brief bits of light on an otherwise dull gray day.

So. What? Boring? Bland? No horizon? (Beg to differ on the latter.)

I tried for eye candy. Oh how that failed. I actually do like the shot. I need professional help. And to let my membership lapse. Perhaps have myself totally locked out of the site.

Little disappointed with the poster - it came out a bit too dark on the birds. I think that's a function of my monitor, though. Still, looks nice at 20x30!

I know what you get like on a shoot, demanding that all the gulls get together - height order from the left - one two . . one two . c'mon feathers pick it up !!
