 Once you reach the plateau, there's a big flat area with a meadow (one of the other pictures). There was a fire up here around 6 years ago, and it's still pretty apparent.

That's a pretty surrealistic landscape. The close focus on the near tree is perfect for this shot. The starburst on the left adds another cool point of interest.
