Great idea for this challenge. I think what's really hurting this photo in my eye is having the two main elements lined up. I would have liked to see the rock formation off to one side, with the teepee to the other (or some variation of that).

Im not sure lining up both points of interest on the center line did you a favor here. Good elements well, lit, ect. I wonder if you had developed it as if it were an old tinotype how it would have done.
