Fine bit of infastucture, i struggled at first to know what this is (have never seen something like this) but now i beleive it is a method to get boats from one level to another?. I can see how the balance would occur so to demonstrate balance in this photo to someone who has never seen this type of thing you have done very well.

Ah ha! This always makes for a good photo. It reminds me of the movie "contact" for some reason. The sky adds a nice balance.
