Driving home from work after a long rainy day and out of nowhere, the skies parted and the sun came out right at sunset lighting the rocks and the water with these intense clouds in the distance

i was disappointed this did not rate higher, however i read Donald's comment and he is right you need clouds that outshine the rest of the picture, but then again i can say the same thing for some higher rated photos.

Donald nailed my opinion well. Regardless, this was one of my 7's. Beautiful shot. Btw, your story backs up why I never ever go anywhere without my camera - in the "You never know....!!" philosophy.

Crisp rocks and water my favorite part of the photo. Clouds an after thought needed more performance to outshine forground. Really loved that forground. Good luck.
