Yes, that's our very own melethia!!! We went on a GTG in downtown today with bspurgeon and mgarsteck. Not shooting for anything specific, but ended up with a couple of images for two different challenges, and with this image (yes, Disney Hall), which I just had to use somehow. This is how :-)

One photo overlay of a flower image I took a while ago. Then three different grunge/texture layers. Oh, and some Redfield water ripples.

What a wonderful colorful swirly overlay! Like something has plopped into our time-space continuum creating a ripple and Deb is looking up to see what just changed our timeline...:-)

LOL!!! I wouldn't dare. She's a bit feisty...

Incidentally, although it does look like concrete, that's the structure's famous stainless steel skin. The processing brought out the dark blotches (and incidentally, the shadow), and the texture overlay roughed up the surface.

Encounter of the 3rd type? "And then the rays of light appeared from underneath the vessel and they pulled her up, while she looked totally amazed..." I like it when pictures tell stories : )

"She must be counting all the pigeons up there...one...two...three " rofl . .

Love the different mixes - colours and grunge, squares in the concrete against ripples from the layer .. angle formed by Deb and her shadow forming an anchor in the corner of the shot.

:) Neat picture. Gehry's work never looked both so peachy and so dirty, at the same time!

I love that peachy color! It's like she's swirling around inside her own head, as she walks. I'm jealous you guys get together so often. :)

I'm waiting for her to throw her hands in the air in surrender or at least exclaim "oh sweet heavens"! LOL! Love the glasses!

Pear-shaped. Working on watermelon. Sigh.... (Nice textures, though!)
