Yeah, I thought since they are called purple grapes, and since they look purple under certain lighting, that they could pass, but in this picture they do look a bit red, sorry about that. But i think the results turned out pretty good considering this is my first challenge, and i have no real photographic training, or experience. I honestly was expecting last place. Thanks to all who gave me a fair rating. Was there any editing i could have done to make this look more purple???

Loved the whole setup and reflections. I found the grapes too close to primary red instead of purples otherwise I would have voted much, much higher.

I'm afraid the focus is off here and the lighting is very harsh, I wonder if a white plate and backrgound with the fresh fruit in daylight might have been better

Kind of retro. Usually I would not like the shallow DOF for a shot like this, but I like it here. It seems to add to the movement of water.

I'm not quite getting the "complementary" colours from this... red and yellow are not complimentary. Red/green or yellow/purple would get you squarely in the challenge. This is a little skewed from that - not quite enough for me to mark it down as a DNMC though... I'll cut you a little slack in case you are considering the grapes as purple :-) I find the drips on the right hand side really distracting. This would be a more impactive image without them.
