When I was driving around in the boonies today I came across this interesting grave site. The man and horse are iron cutouts, the cross is made of horse shoes.

That is a really neat find - I am sure that there is an interesting story to the site where you found this. The man and the horse being darker than the rest of the composition coupled with the 'aged & worn' overlay and the cross at the gravesite gives me the impression that they are ghosts/shadows against the backdrop. Perhaps the 'shadowy' visitors/shades have come to pay respects to another who has long passed on or it is the shade of a recently departed soul who is saying a final goodbye to his earthly cell before riding off into the sunset....So many stories can be spun off of this composition.

That's really cool. The man almost doesn't look like a man though. He looks kind of planet of the apes-ish.

The old song "oh give me a home where the buffalo roam; where the deer and the antelope play" immediately came into my head. This is such a perfect layering. You almost think that it's two silhouettes paying their respects, and then you see it's one dimensional cut outs. Kind of symbolic as our dimensions change when we go to the other side. NICE GOING. I look forward to your entries this month. I might even crank out a poem or two.

Interesting scene, I like how the processing makes this one look like something out of a story book!
