 Lovely midday sun in a San Pedro downtown courtyard. This particular little courtyard has a nifty pool (not pictured) and sculpture feature. Overcoming limitations of harsh lighting had very little to do with my efforts - more the placing of buildings and the time of year with respect to the sun's location on this particular afternoon. The sun is over my right shoulder in this view.

Highlight of this shot - I'd stopped to shoot this courtyard (I was out riding my bike) and my good friend John in Frankfurt called! Had I not stopped to shoot I'd probably have let the call go to voicemail.
