This isn't quite as insane as I thought it was going to be, what with your leadup lol.
No worries, there was no way you'd know you'd get the ire of DPC pet haters.
Getting lower for pet shots makes them feel more alive and interesting. Honestly though, the quality of the light isn't so terrible for midday- pet coats can be a super PITA to keep from getting all sorts of blown highlights, and Copper was oriented in a fashion that he didn't suffer from raccoon eye shadows or really dark and badly placed shadows.

Too snap shot'y for me, and the colors are so bright they hurt my eyes. but it's still, very pretty photo.
