 In Borrego Springs CA, there are many iron statues close to the side of the road. This elephant looked like he should be making sound.

I decided that a star trail would add a little something to the picture. I think it helps to make him look prehistoric. The moon was out so the landscape came out almost like it was daytime. I cropped and selectively adjusted the curves to bring out the star trails.

I'm not sure you can enter art as the main subject in a challenge but this clay looking beast does seem to be giving out more than a hoot. I found the photo very bright and the circular lines in the sky distracting.
