| I do like this one very much -- it was one of my 8s. It makes you hear the rain against the window and the wind. It also gives you the cozy feeling of being inside. It evokes a lot on many levels. Beautifully done, severely underrated. |

| Thanks to Yo_Spiff, MeMex2 and ubique...they saw the intent behind this image. I appreciate all the comments, but these two really made my day. I guess you have to experience a Nor'easter to appreciate the sound and appearance of it. |

You might want to take that comment from  Ubique and frame it with the shot. That is high praise! I felt the same way about many of the other entries, but he says it perfectly. |

| Simple and startlingly effective. Probably more in the true spirit of the challenge than any other entry. Normally I don't care much at all about whether an image 'meets the challenge" ... how can I really know that? But this time you have left me in no doubt; it's wonderfully sensory, which was surely the whole point (rather than vapid pictures of people merely presumed to be making a noise). Top two for me. |
