 this was a fun littl experiment I tried the other day first I took some pictures of some candles in a basket that looked like this:

Then I took a photo I had taken a few weeks ago of some leaves:

and layered it over the top cliking overlay as my layer style.
Then I masked over parts of the candle and the basket so that the leaves only showed in the background. I like the results.

The resulting shot is very well integrated - I had no idea you'd layered it until I saw your comments. Very "fall" and nice warm colors!

Very interesting ... oh dang it interesting isn't good enough - this SC is really giving me problems with superlatives. I love the warm colours and the roughness of this image.

I would never say this was a composite, I thought the background was a textured table. Great job! Love the earthy tones.

I like this very much. The colors work so well together - the background is such a nice setting for the basket of earthy colored candles.
