 Intentional blur. I adjusted it gradually for several shots, ranging from the green living plant in the foreground to the red/brown dead bush in the background. I had found these two plants and something about them had me looking to capture contrasting elements between them... alive vs dead, green vs red/brown, focus vs blur, etc...

While going through my shots, I thought this had an interesting painting-like quality to it. I adjusted the color temperature cooler to show a greater range of colors (getting a little blue in there) and increased the contrast and saturation a little.
