For this challenge I decided not to capture an entire bridge, but to only give a partial(but still interesting) view of a bridge. The Rotterdam Erasmus bridge - 'The Swan' - is one of the more special bridges to capture around here.

When the 802 metre long bridge was first opened to the public in 1996 it was closed almost immediately after due to resonating stay cables.
Fortunately it didn't take the city of Rotterdam long to find a workaround(1996) and a more permanent solution to the problem was implemented in 1997 - the bridge has been fine ever since :).

It's a nice overview of the city, but the slope (and winds) can be annoying at times..... when trying to cross the bridge using a bicycle ;)

Ahh, I enjoyed the view from this bridge at sunset when I visited in 2009. Glad you posted this photo!

nr 39 uit 138 niet verkeerd, mooie foto met klasse compo....alleen het detail is origineel bedacht.
