Nice contrast in colors and I very much like the look with her eyes being shielded by the hat.

The strong color of the red fence and her averted glare make thie special. I prefer the crop for the composition but agree with Bear Music that the uncropped version tells a better story.

I think the uncropped version you have linked to is MUCH stronger, more story elements by far. The high BG is very intriguing in that one.

Didn't think I was going to like this from the thumbnail but now properly opened it's great, well taken and I like the hint of back story not only in the face and posture if the lass but the background lending the whole image a very strong narrative context.
